Overview of belt dryer is also called mesh belt dryer, belt drying oven, and flap dryer. It is used for continuous batch drying of sheet, strip, and granular materials with good air permeability. It is suitable for materials with high moisture content and heat-sensitive properties, such as dehydrated vegetables, decoction pieces, etc. It can dry paste materials such as dehydrated filter cakes after granulation or shaping. For materials with high moisture content, multiple units can be connected in series to form an assembly line.

The dried and baked materials enter continuously from the feed port, pass through the heating tunnel at a uniform speed through the mesh belt conveyor, and run to the discharge port. The materials are heated during the operation, and the moisture or solvent is evaporated and discharged to the outside. It is generally a single-layer structure, and sometimes it is designed and manufactured into a three- to nine-layer structure in order to save space and increase production.

The belt dryer consists of several independent unit sections. Each unit section includes a circulating fan, a heating device, a separate or common fresh air intake system and an exhaust gas exhaust system. The operating parameters of the drying medium quantity, temperature, humidity and exhaust gas circulation volume can be independently controlled to ensure the reliability of the belt dryer and the optimization of operating conditions. The belt dryer is flexible to operate, wet material feeding, and the drying process is carried out in a completely sealed box, with good working conditions and no dust leakage. Belt dryer is a continuous drying equipment for batch production.

It is used for drying flake, strip and granular materials with good air permeability. It is suitable for dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, medicinal pieces and other materials with high moisture content but high material temperature. This series of dryers has the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity and good product quality. For dehydrated filter cake-like paste materials, they need to be granulated or made into strips before drying.
